Milton Edward Anderson, Jr. passed at home in San Mateo on March 21 at the age of 75.
He was a loving father to sons Robert and Jeffery and daughter Wendy. He is also survived by his sister Patricia and granddaughter Maya as well as many friends and extended family members. A native San Franciscan, he shared his life with many friends at Western Hills Baptist Church and Burlingame United Methodist Church as well as people he met on his daily walks. Milton enjoyed working in his garden, cheering on the 49ers and traveling the U.S. often by car.

Milton kept in close contact with his brothers at the SFFD which he retired from in 1994 after 30 years of dedicated service. He also served his country as a US Marine during the Korean War.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Monica's Church, 470 24th Avenue San Francisco at 11 am Monday, March 26 followed by a Burial Service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. A reception will follow at Burlingame United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SFFD Combined Charities Campaign which can be searched online.
