Jacqueline Bernice Gutfeld, of San Mateo,California, passed away Saturday, May 24th, 2014, with her family by her side. She is survived by her three daughters, Christine, Jeanne, and Leslie, and her son Gregory - as well as her sisters, Mary Ellen and Jeanne. "Jackie," as her friends called her, was a wonderful, caring person - adored by her three grandchildren, Garrett, Reagan and Emily. She adored them too - they gave her great joy, each and every day.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Bernice Alice Corkery, Louis Carlos Cauhape, and her brother, Louis Cauhape Jr.
Her personality - marked by a great sense of humor, and sense of the absurd, left an impact where ever she went. She was a warm, generous, and loving person who made you laugh, while making you a drink. Once you met her, you don't forget her. And none of us will.
Jackie was a teacher, a homemaker, a mom, a wife, an advice columnist for a few men's magazines, and a Fox News Senior Correspondent for Redeye. She was the best.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Judes.
And have a double vodka on the rocks in her memory.
