September 17, 1990 - September 5, 2021
San Mateo, California | Age 30

The sweetest most mischievous son and brother - Our little Newt brought joy and fun wherever he went!

Obituary

Austin Cenedella born and raised in San Carlos, CA. Son to Shawnna and Arn, brother to Alex. grandson to George Sullivan, Audre Cenedella, Hal & Virginia Cenedella. White Oaks Elementary, Central Middle and Serra High School. Gifted student and athlete - excelled in San Carlos Little League and AYSO. Was a key team member and leader of SCLL baseball teams that won numerous championships including Northern CA titles in the late 1990s and early 2000s. More than that, he was a mischievous imp - charismatic quick witted with a smile that warmed everyone he came across during his life. Austin's joy and exuberance in sports and life was immense. His personality was infectious. People loved to hang with Austin - it was sure to be a good time. Much of Austin's success can be traced to the support his big brother, Alex, provided Austin throughout his lifetime. Austin was fortunate to have a big heart like Alex as his older brother. We spent countless hours together just doing sports - including those great times skiing and snowboarding in Lake Tahoe and at Whistler - snorkeling and body surfing in Hawaii. Besides sport, Austin's other passion was cooking which he shared with his mom on a regular basis.

Austin is a unique and special human being.

Austin's life has ended way too soon. But let's remember all the wonderful times and moments we shared with Nunu aka the Newt.

Please let him know he was loved by you all.

One can be sad Austin left us too soon. But one can be happy Austin came into our life and that was fabulous. Please know that Austin is at peace now.
