Message From The Family

Thank you for your support throughout this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Stanley by adding your memories and photos.

Stanley Reyes Raroque passed away at his home in Subic Bay, Philippines on June of 2021. He was 74 years old. Stanley was the husband of Thelma, father of Ron (Lourdes), Gina (Tom) and proud grandfather of Noah and Anna. Stanley was born and raised in the province of Alaminos, Philippines where he was a great student and worked hard to achieve high rankings in class. However in lieu of enrolling in college, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy when he was 18 years old to help support his father Agustin and brother Arthur. He loved to explore the world. The Navy brought him to the eastern coast of the United States where he met his wife, Thelma. He served diligently for 20 years often deployed for 3-6 months at a time working on U.S. Navy carriers and submarines. Toward the end of his Navy career he enjoyed managing various Navy facilities. Through his hard work he advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Stationed in many places such as San Diego, Washington, Guam, and the Philippines he retired in 1986 in San Jose, California. After retiring he earned his real estate license and enjoyed selling homes for many years. Friends and family know Stanley "Stan" for his love of travel, Elvis Presley, and mostly his love to dance.
