Tribute & Message From The Family

Valerie Irene Devincezi passed away after a long illness on hospice care November 5th, 2021. Valerie was born in San Mateo, CA. She was a bedside nurse with Mills-Peninsula Hospital for 42 years touching countless lives with her compassionate care and larger than life spirit.

Valerie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Ronald Arthur Devincenzi. Valerie is survived by sister Victoria O'Dell (Jack), brother Robert Vierra (Georgia) and daughters Shelly and Nicole (Mike) and cat Chloe

Special thanks to hospice nurses Linda, Gabby, Marjorie and social worker Tess for their compassionate care.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life on Wednesday, November 10th from 4-6pm at Poplar Creek Golf Course, 1700 Coyote Point Dr., San Mateo, CA 94401.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Mission Hospice and SPCA.
