Obituary for Frank John Bottarini

Frank Bottarini, 91, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2021. He was born and raised in the Excelsior District of San Francisco. Beloved husband of the late Frances Bottarini. Devoted father of John (Carrie), Mike (Diane), and Sharon (Paul) Bertana. Loving Grandfather of Gina (Dusty), Monica (Robert), Lisa, Michelle, Angela, Dante, Gianna and Talia. Great Grandfather to Lily and Julian. Devoted Brother of the late Jack Bottarini.

Frank was a Korean War Veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was the proud owner of Frank & Charlie's Mobil Service Station in S.F. for 40 years. An active member of YMI #613.

A special thank you to Frank's caregivers Sally and Erika for their friendship and dedication and to the VA Palo Alto Community Living Center in Menlo Park for their compassionate care during this past year and a half.

A Funeral Mass honoring Frank will be held at 10:30am on Monday, March 1, 2021 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in San Mateo. Due to Covid-19, a private interment will be held at the Italian Cemetery.
